| Wow!
It's been a while since I've written. Hmmmmm, what's been going on? Ok,
well first let me go waaay back to August to the show we did at the El
Mocambo. It was a pretty great show. Thanks for showing up!! With the
exception of a few feedback issues, I really think it was the best show
we've ever done! Still trying to sort out a show out for November. Kulas
was the best part of the evening. He just owns that stage. I'm truly jealous
of his talent. I'm very lucky to be able to work with someone of his calibre.
He had people dancing from the moment he took the stage. Speaking of Kulas,
he took me to one of the best shows ever the other night!!! After hanging
out with some of the guys from 'Queens of the Stone Age' (they played
the Guvernment Monday night), he met up with Craig (awesome guy!!!), one
of the production guys working with REM who invited Michael to the show
on Tuesday night. To make a long story even loooooooonger, Michael invited
me and we had FRONT ROW seats!! It was an amazing show!!!! Then to really
make my night, we had passes to go back stage and meet the band! Bill
Rieflin, the drummer was very hospitable to us . He's an incredibly charming
guy! (not to mention talented) Also met Ken Stringfellow, Mike Mills and
Michael Stipe! Ok, I know I'm rambling, but it really was an unbelievable
night. I have to say REM is perhaps one of the best live shows I've ever
seen! They sounded great!!! Love "Bad Day"! Anyway, I'll keep
you posted on November dates. I'm totally addicted to ALIAS! Season premiere
was on last Sunday! I'm hooked.....again. Hockey season is finally here!
