| June 24, 2003 - Summer is finally here! |

| I
am NOT going to complain about the heat at all this summer!!! We waited
waaay too long for it this year. I am definitely a 'summer' person. Give
me sunshine, water (to swim in) and one of my Mom's 'Dominators' (sort
of a daiquiri, but waaaay better), and I'm in my happy zone. Things are
pretty busy for me right now. It was a little touch and go with booking
shows this summer, but I HOPE it’s finally resolved. We are no longer
doing the Rivoli show on the 17th. Long story. Sigh. However, we’ve
decided to do a show on Wed. July 23rd at “C’est What”,
which will be ‘unplugged’. Aaaaaand in August we’re doing
a show at the El Mocambo on the 21st. I’m psyched to play again!
Plus not everyone got in last time :( so hopefully they'll get to see
one these shows. I’m also singing the anthem at the Skydome for the
Blue Jay’s game on Sunday, August 10th! How outstanding is that?
I think they play Texas, and it's a 1:05pm start. Very excited!!! Otherwise,
I am enjoying the summer weather finally!! Still playing hockey on Wednesday
nights. Still losing hockey on Wednesday nights. We have a strategy though.
What we’re doing really, is lulling the other teams into a false
sense of security so that we can destroy them the second half of the season.
It’s AAAAAaaaaalll about the strategy! Anyway, for my entire fellow
Canadians, have a WICKED long weekend!!!!!!!!!
